Every pregnancy is a unique experience for the mother-to-be. To ensure her comfort and the health of her baby, Sutter Women's Services offers the most complete range of perinatal services available in the greater Sacramento area. At Sutter Memorial Hospial, Sutter Auburn Faith Hospital, Sutter Davis Hospital, and Sutter Roseville Medical Center, women can receive diagnostic services such as ultrasound, amniocentesis and non-stress testing to check on the baby's health. Sutter Memorial Hospital offers additional diagnostic testing for older women, or those with special conditions, through our High-risk Pregnancy program. Care for mothers is provided through affiliated obstetricians with delivery services available at all of the hospitals. Each hospital also offers childbirth education classes. The vast majority of women experience uncomplicated pregnancies and the delivery of a healthy newborn. Still, it is reassuring to know that, should any complication arise with mother or child, as a patient in the Sutter Health network, you will receive specialized care high-risk pregnancy and the most advanced neonatal care in the region. Sutter Women's Services provide 24-hour transport from 23 counties for mothers and infants who need the extra level of care available.
