Cardiac Care
Sutter Women's Services
Though we us think of it as a man's problem, more women than men die from heart disease each year. It's the leading cause of death in women--and it kills six times more women than breast cancer. Sadly, 63 percent of the women who died suddenly of heart disease experienced no previous symptoms.
At Sutter, we take the dangers of heart disease in women seriously. The programs and services of the Sutter Heart & Vascular Institute and your Sutter primary care physician can help you find out if have or are at risk for conditions affecting your heart and circulatory system and help you manage your heart health. To find out more, visit the Sutter Heart & Vascular Institute's section on Women and Heart Disease and take our Heart Health Risk Assessment.
