Though it is the surgeon we most often think of in heart transplantation, successful transplants are absolutely the result of a team effort, with each member providing valuable care and support along the patient's journey.
The Heart Transplant Program team at Sutter Transplant Services is made up of the following primary members. The team receives additional support from Sutter Health's full complement of specialists available to provide care as needed.
