Dr. Wytrzes' interest in sleep medicine became focused while receiving fellowship training and conducting brain physiology research at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle, which included working with patients in the university's sleep lab. As a neurologist, she works with patients with sleep disturbances that include insomnia, narcolepsy, restless legs syndrome, parasomnias such as night terrors and sleep walking, and other sleep issues related to the brain and central nervous system. Dr. Wytrzes received her medical training at the University of Cincinnati, College of Medicine and served residencies in internal medicine at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation and in neurology at the University of Massachusetts. In addition, she received fellowship training in EEG and neurophysiology at the University of Washington Medical Center. Dr. Wytzres is a member of the American Sleep Disorders Association and American Academy of Sleep Medicine.

Dr. Chipps has remained active with the program since its inception, helping patients of all ages deal with sleep apnea, including babies with apnea of infancy that has been linked to sudden infant death syndrome. Dr. Chipps is board certified in allergy and immunology and in pediatrics with a subspecialty in pulmonology and is a fellow of the American Academy of Allergy and the American Academy of Pediatrics. He also specializes in pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine. Dr. Chipps received his medical, residency and internship training at the University of Texas Medical Branch.

David Groza, RPSGT, RCP, BS EEE Sutter Sleep Center Manager David Groza has been with Sutter since 1985, working first as a respiratory care practitioner (RPC) with neonatal and pediatric patients before moving into sleep medicine. His interest in sleep medicine began during the time researchers were drawing the connection between infant sleep apnea and sudden infant death syndrome. Groza's interest led him to working at the Sutter Sleep Center, beginning as a registered polysomnographic technologist (RPSGT) before moving into management. Groza also holds a bachelor of science degree in electrical and electronics engineering from CA State University Sacramento.
