Sutter Medical Center, Sacramento has been offering da Vinci surgery for more than nine years. In 2014 we became the first hospital in California to use the latest robotic system, the da Vinci Xi. The Xi features magnified 3D HD vision and revolutionary anatomical access making it easier for the surgeon to work around the patient and a laser targeting system. The Xi is optimized for multi-quadrant surgeries, allowing us to use this technology for general abdominal and bariatric patients.
Sutter Roseville Medical Center has the da Vinci Si HD system, which features advanced 3D HD visualization and magnification, offering surgeons and immersive view of the operative field. The Si has improved dexterity and range of motion far greater than even the human hand, and motion technology, which replicates the operative experience and control of open surgery by preserving natural eye-hand-instrument alignment and intuitive instrument control.
