    Sutter Health Sacramento Sierra Region

You can make a difference. Get involved by helping to support our communities’ critical needs.

    Advanced Technology

    • Sutter Davis Hospital Foundation
In clinical care, accurate and timely diagnostic data help our clinicians plan the best possible care for our patients. With our Vital Signs project, we will be redesigning five satellite work stations in our Medical Surgical Unit and installing advanced, dedicated monitoring equipment. Our hospital is nationally recognized for quality, safety and clinical outcomes. Your generous gift will help us to better care for our patients—right here in our community—with the most advanced technology and first-rate services, speeding their healing and recovery.

    Community Outreach—Care for Older Adults

    • Sutter Solano Charitable Foundation
As we grow older, our health needs change. For frail older adults with complex health needs, getting that care can be difficult. No one understood this better than Dr. Richard Zimmerman, a dedicated physician who served Solano County residents for more than 50 years. Today, Dr. Zimmerman’s legacy lives on through the Zimmerman Care Coordination Program of the Sutter Medical Foundation. With your investment, we can expand services for frail older adults in our county—regardless of their ability to pay. Your support will help to ensure that homebound elderly adults with complex health needs have access to the medical services they need—services that are essential to maintaining quality of life, dignity and independence for as long as possible.

    Emergency and Urgent Care

    • Sutter Amador Hospital Foundation
To meet the growing emergency care needs of our community, our upgraded Emergency Department will expand to 13 rooms, more than double its current size, so we can see patients in a timely fashion and reduce wait times. Our “Fast Track” will add two more triage rooms to see and treat non-urgent patients. In addition, we’ll update the waiting area and treatment rooms. Each room will be private and will have the latest computer-based monitoring systems. As our area’s only provider of emergency medical care and where new technology and state-of-the-art equipment are crucial, your investment will save lives.

    • Sutter Medical Foundation, Yuba City
Last year, we diagnosed and treated 50,000 people who needed prompt medical attention—but didn’t require hospital emergency care – at our Sutter Urgent Care in Yuba City. Yet to offer access to everyone who needs us, we must expand and enhance our services, especially since the number of Sutter Urgent Care Patients has surged by 30% in recent years. To meet this growing demand, we are adding three exam rooms and an additional health provider. What’s more, we’ll be updating our facility with new carpeting, paint and reupholstered furniture. Your gift will mean that we can reach out even further to serve more of our neighbors with the highest quality care—in the most comforting setting possible. At the same time, we’ll free up local emergency rooms for patients with life-threatening conditions.

    • Sutter Auburn Faith Foundation
Three years ago, it started with a promise. A promise to completely renovate our 97-bed hospital—upgrading patient rooms, increasing the number of private rooms and remodeling our four operating suites with all-new equipment. We are almost there. With your investment, we will be able to fulfill our promise to the community. Your generosity will help Auburn and surrounding area residents by providing access to surgery and care close to home and loved ones, with shorter stays and faster recoveries.

    Women’s and Children’s Services

    • Sutter Roseville Medical Center Foundation
Last year, more than 2,800 babies were welcomed to the world in our Family Birth Center — a family-friendly, high-tech environment designed to make our patient moms feel comfortable and secure throughout labor, delivery and recovery, and to facilitate bonding between mother and child.

An optimally safe and comfortable environment is so important for mothers and newborns. That’s why we’ll be replacing outdated birthing beds with ergonomically designed beds that make a woman’s labor and delivery experience more comfortable, while increasing safety and efficiency. New fetal monitors will improve moms’ experience, with increased sensitivity, especially important for multiple babies. Your gift will create a safer, more comfortable birthing experience for the expectant mother as well as her Labor and Delivery team.
