    Deformities
    Pediatric Spine Conditions

It is surprisingly common for children to be born with spinal abnormalities or to develop them as they grow. The doctors, nurses and technicians of Sutter Neuroscience Institute and Sutter Children's Services feel fortunate to be able to provide exceptional care and the latest medical technology to help children and teens grow and develop in strong, healthy bodies.

General information about growth and development is available in our Healthwise health information sections on: Growth and Development: newborn, ages 1 to 12 months, ages 12 to 24 months, ages 2 to 5 years, ages 11 to 14 years and ages 15 to 18 years. You can find additional information on the children's page and under growth disorders in MedlinePlus®, a joint effort of the National Institutes of Health and the National Library of Medicine.
