Join us for this free interactive seminar Tuesday evening, Sept. 9 It can be hard to have hope in the midst of crisis. Yet what we believe influences how we respond and cope. Belief is not limited to religious doctrine, but is an innate human process for transforming life's 'detours' and sustaining a vision for the future. Presenters include Rev. Authentic Relationship Skills Group
Do you struggle with truthful, authentic communication with those you care about? Do you even know what you truly feel and are you able to convey your truth to others in a graceful, heartful way, even if the truth may be painful for others to hear? Did you know that your physical health is affected when you hold your truth inside for fear of how others will view you? In this group, you will learn to communicate authentically from your heart, in part by practicing these skills. The group will meet in downtown Davis on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 to 8:00 pm, and on Wednesday nights in midtown Sacramento from 6:30 to 8:00 pm. Groups begin in early January. Freeing Yourself from Emotional Eating
This group is for women who have tried dieting many times and have found themselves back to square one. This weekly group addresses the emotional causes of compulsive overeating or binging, and psychotherapist Deborah Cohen has offered the group in the Sacramento area for the past 12 years. The group is very popular. The group will meet in downtown Davis on Thursdays from 12:30 to 2:00 pm, beginning on Thursday, January 3rd. Healing Touch Classes for Healthcare Professionals and Others
Healing Touch is a multi-level program of human biofield therapy that builds from beginning to advanced practice. HT uses touch to influence & promote harmony in a person's energy system thus affecting physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health, and empowering the individual to be in touch with their own healing. Healing Touch has extensive application in all areas of nursing. HT therapies are used in many settings as complementary therapy for anxiety relief, pain management, and wound healing. A strong commitment to personal growth and holistic health principles is required of the learner. Although the course is targeted to nurses and healthcare providers, all disciplines and community are welcomed.

Mothers Without Mothers
Mother's without Mother's is a therapy group for mothers mothering children and mothering themselves. The group address increasing mothering confidence, letting go of grief, cherishing love, recognizing personal trauma triggers,harnessing the wisdom readily available, and relating authentically with our children.
