Today, we offer only digital mammograms because they allow doctors to use computer tools, such as zooming and changing contrast levels for better viewing. Switching to digital imaging also allows doctors to store images in your electronic medical record files and easily share images with specialists to gain additional insight on diagnosing and treating conditions.
Minimally Invasive Treatments
In addition to advances in diagnostic imaging technologies, the field has expanded to include new treatments that incorporate imaging.
