Sutter Gamma Knife Center offers one of the world’s most technologically advanced machines that can be used alone or as an additional therapy to treat brain tumors, trigeminal neuralgia, vascular malformations, and other neurological disorders for patients of all ages. The program's multidisciplinary team includes neurosurgeons, radiation oncologists, radiation physicists, neuroradiologists, nurses and support staff who have extensive experience working with Gamma Knife technology.
Sutter Neuroscience Institute, a designated Center of Excellence and among the nation’s top neuroscience programs, established Sutter Gamma Knife Center in 1998, at the Sutter Medical Center, Sacramento campus. The Gamma Knife Center has treated over 1600 adults and children with this innovative, lifesaving and proven technology.
