Our Governance Structure
Sutter Health Sacramento Sierra Region
Sutter Health affiliates are locally governed, and that is why we are truly a community-based, not-for-profit health care provider. A local Board of Trustees provides governance and oversight to the Sutter Health affiliatesin Placer, Sacramento and Yolo counties. The Board is comprised of more than a dozen community and business leaders from local communities. Each affiliate has a Community Board to identify local community benefit activities, which are approved by the Regional Board of Trustees.
