Children with congenital or acquired conditions of the eye receive diagnostic and comprehensive evaluation and treatment under the care of a pediatric ophthalmologist who specializes in:

  • Strabismus

  • Pediatric cataracts

  • Pediatric glaucoma

  • Tear duct obstruction

  • Ptosis (droopiness of the lid)

  • Lid, orbital and oculoplastic conditions

  • Ocular trauma
Comprehensive examination services may include ultrasonography of the eye, visual field testing, fundus photography and external photography. Examinations are available through outpatient services, and on an inpatient basis for newborns with suspected conditions and for children with eye trauma.
