Early and proper diagnosis and treatment of hearing difficulties can make a tremendous difference in a child's development and emotional well being. Pediatric Rehabilitation Services' staff of audiologists provides testing designed to be age appropriate for children. These tests determine:

• Hearing loss


• Eardrum and middle ear pathology and


• Neurological communication from the ear to the brain.

Evaluations and treatment plans are shared with referring physicians. Hearing aids and other hearing-enhancing equipment is available through the clinic, and community referrals are available for additional resources.

The Pediatric Rehabilitation Services of Sutter Women's and Children's is approved by the California Children Services (CCS).
