Sutter Children's Services
Sutter Center for Psychiatry provides extensive psychiatric inpatient and partial hospitalization treatment plans for children ages 5-12 and adolescents ages 13-17. Sutter Counseling Center provides outpatient services for children in the Sacramento area. Services are funded by the Sacramento County Mental Health Plan and are limited to those who are Medi-Cal eligible (EPSDT) or authorized in an Individual Education Plan by their school district (AB 26.5).
Sutter Center for Psychiatry is the regional leader in providing psychiatric and mental health services to adults, adolescents and children. As the region's only not-for-profit mental health program, Sutter Health continues to lead with services available at Sutter Center for Psychiatry, the Sutter Counseling Center, and Sutter Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Resources.
Phone consultations are available through Sutter Center for Psychiatry by calling (916) 386-3077 or (800) 801-3077. Call center staff will answer questions, offer support and make appropriate recommendations for follow-up.
