Children's Center at Sutter Medical Center, Sacramento, operates a child friendly Emergency Department that treats children of all ages with our family-centered care philosophy. Staffed by physicians and nurses with specialized training in emergency pediatric medicine. The care involves an interdisciplinary approach to care utilizing physicians, nurses, child life specialists, pharmacists, technicians, and respiratory care practitioners. The Emergency Department utilizes a state-of-the-art bedside computer system to speed up patient care and the admission procedure.
