Cancer of a woman's reproductive system can come in many forms, some easy to treat, others requiring more complex care. When a woman learns she has cancer of the ovaries, uterus, endometrial, vulva or cervix, she needs to know she will receive treatment from medical experts experienced in understanding the many forms of gynecologic cancers and skilled at determining the best possible treatment plan.
Sutter Cancer Center, Sacramento offers a weekly clinic available by physician referral that provides initial and follow-up visits to evaluate and treat patients with suspected or confirmed gynecologic cancers. Our preeminent board-certified gynecological oncologists coordinate and manage each patient's care and receive additional support from Sutter Cancer Center's board-certified medical oncologists, radiologists and other specialists. In addition, women referred to the clinic have access to the extensive support services available, including patient and family counseling, nutritional counseling and an array of classes and support groups.
