Adult Bereavement Group (Sacramento)
The Adult Bereavement Group is a community service project of Sutter Hospice, offering support for those grieving the death of a loved one or friend. The group is open to anyone having experienced a loss through death within the last year. The group is led by a professional counselor and meets two to three times each month.
This group helps individuals recognize the various aspects of grief and offers ways to cope and work toward the acceptance of the death being experienced. The group setting provides an environment that is safe, supportive, and empathetic. There is no charge for the group.
The Adult Bereavement Group is held every other Wednesday at Sutter Cancer Center, Room 220, 2800 L Street, Sacramento. Please call (916) 557-5882 for information.
